Abazia spa, as european leader for the projecting and the realisation of moulds for thermoplastics, realized in record time a 2-cavities mould for the production of the plastic supports for the medical visors, used for the face protecion of the medical working personnel, especially in the hospitals. Such protecting visors in the past were realized using a 3D printer and their production was a little more than 120 pieces per shift. Now, with the help of the technology of the thermoplastic moulding, it is possible to produce them in polycarbonate, with a production of more than 2.000 pieces per shift. With the mould realized by Abazia, after every cycle of moulding it is possible to obtain two supports of two different sizes.
